BRING BACK THE NIGHT 10 January 2021

For the first time in recent history, nightlife came to a standstill. ERISTOFF had always been highly involved in nightlife and its community. Suddenly, no real-life connection with the consumer audience was possible. To bring ERISTOFF top-of-mind with consumers after long nightlife closure caused by COVID – and to support on-trade customers after COVID closure – BAAS came up with another way to communicate.

The words were written by Miss Elli, a well-known artist in the Belgian slam poetry scene. She is regarded as one of the founders of slam poetry in Belgium. The video was directed by Twan Brooks from Antwerp. He has been actively making films since 2014 and is responsible for many festival after movies like Dour, WECANDANCE and Fire is Gold

With BAAS’ work, more than 50 Belgian clubs and DJs posted the video ‘BRING BACK THE NIGHT’ by ERISTOFF. In October, the first clubs in Belgium reopened and together with ERISTOFF they brought the Belgian nightlife back to life. Every club received a video with their own logo and the message: ‘The first drink is on us’. At the reopening of the club all visitors got their first round of ERISTOFF for free. Besides clubs and DJ’s, media like Vice, Sudinfo, Humo and TAGMAG shared the video as well.
